Pull out that cardigan honey, fall is coming! Just kidding! There’s still much to be done before it’s chilly outside! September 23rd, 2019 is this year’s first day of fall. It also could be the day of your wedding!? It is still totally in-season to have a fabulous tan…it is also imperative to have a healthy glow for your fall wedding day!
Some things to consider with the slight weather change.
- It may be tempting to stick with your dark summer tan, but sometimes darker isn’t always better – especially in the fall! If you want to keep up a natural looking tan, think about choosing a lighter shade. This is especially important to consider for your big day! Having a tan is a must for your wedding, but you don’t want to look back at your pictures and see that you’re multiple shades darker than everyone else. A natural tan is always best for your wedding day.
- Even though most of the focus is on the bride, guys – you’re in the picture, too! You don’t want to be the pale one sticking out when everyone else has a glowing tan! That doesn’t mean you have to go dark, but we can give you a little bit of that summer tan back! Test out your tan before your engagement photo shoot so you can find out your perfect shade AND look great in your pictures!
- The cooler temperatures are setting in and along with it, dryer air. My skin gets extremely dry in the colder months! This makes exfoliation even more important. Exfoliating prior to your Air-Tan appointment will go a long way in helping your tan not only last longer but look better as well. It’s best to apply the tan on a fresh layer of skin so that you’ll be able to have that perfect glow that you’re after in the fall.
- Again, cold weather brings the dry air! If your skin becomes dry and cracked, so will your tan! Keeping your skin moisturized after your Air-Tan will help keep your tan looking fresh even longer.
As always, we highly recommend doing at least one trial tan before your big day! If your wedding party would like more than one Air-Tan (and at a discounted price!) email our Bridal Coordinator, Emily Buker, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
