How often should I get this done?
This is a question I get all the time by people who are wanting to maintain that beautiful Air-Tan glow. The honest answer is that is varies from person to person. The first rule of wanting to maintain your tan, is that you must remove all of your previous tan before you get a new one for best results. On average, a tan will last about 7-10 days with proper care.
If you are active like me and have frequent sweaty workouts or swim multiple times a week, it may not last quite as long. But if you are diligent about moisturizing and caring for your tan, you can have it last a couple weeks! We have many clients who come in every week, but in order to do that, you have to spend some extra time exfoliating in order to remove all of the previous week’s tan. I generally get an Air-Tan 3 times a month, touching up my face between tans with the Face Spray or Bronzer Brush we sell.
Should I come in a couple times before my vacation?
Nope! In just one session, you can get a deep golden tan. Unless you want to test out different levels, one tan is all you need. That’s the beauty of an Air-Tan – there’s no need to come over and over to achieve the tan you want. Like I mentioned above, you don’t want to build up an Air-Tan. That’s how you’ll get a dreaded orange hue. So why waste valuable time, like you would with a tanning bed, when you can get a beautiful glow in just 15 minutes?
