Now that the warm weather has finally decided to stick around – if you’re anything like me – your Air-Tans are probably getting more and more frequent. I like to keep up my tan all summer long! But unlike UV tanning, you don’t need to build up your Air-Tans. Actually, that’s exactly what you don’t want to do!
You might have noticed that your second or third tan might not look quite the same as your first – especially if you’re coming pretty frequently. This is most likely because you still have some of your old tan still on. It’s best to apply a spray tan over clean, exfoliated skin.
Think of it like you would your nail polish. You wouldn’t want to apply a new layer of polish over old chipped polish just like you wouldn’t want to apply a new spray tan over a faded one.
We’ve all been there. Scrubbing off your tan every week can sometimes be challenging. Your skin takes 30 days to naturally exfoliate itself without any help from rubbing or scrubbing. Luckily, we’ve got some great tips and products to help you out! I get my Air-Tan once a week and so do most of our members!
Our Air-Tan scrub is amazing. Many of our unlimited members who come every week love it! Our scrub has glycolic acid, which will help naturally exfoliate the skin. All you have to do is let it sit on your skin for 1-3 minutes and then scrub! A damp washcloth in the shower combined with the scrub works wonders! Or even better, the Stimulite Honeycomb exfoliting mitt that we carry is ahhhhmazing!! Makes your skin so smooth and does an excellent job of evenly getting your tan off. Also, when you get out of the shower, rub your skin with a dry towel and that should take off any excess tan.
Trust me, it is well worth it to spend a couple of extra minutes scrubbing in the shower. You’re Air-Tan will come out looking perfect every time!
