“What’s Galentine’s Day?” you may ask. As Leslie Knope put it in the hit TV show, Parks and Recreation, “Oh it’s only the best day of the year! Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and boyfriends at home, and we come and kick-it, breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It’s like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas.”
I love the idea of setting aside a day to celebrate the love you have with your best gal pals. We place so much emphasis on Valentine’s Day, but why not spread the love? Your friends are by your side through every relationship and break-up! I’ve put together some great ideas for how you can spend Galentine’s Day:
This is the classic Leslie Knope-style Galentine’s Day. Spend the morning at your favorite brunch spot, and be sure to take some time praising each other!
Go out with your besties and paint the town red! Your boyfriend doesn’t like to dance? You can count on your girlfriends to hit to floor with you!

There is nothing better than going over to your friend’s house and just chilling together. Make it a pajama night and laugh the night away.
