‘Tis the season! Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. I love all of the Christmas lights, parties, décor, FOOD, and happy people. Christmas time can also leave a huge dent in your bank account with all of the shopping for gifts, dresses for parties, etc. Don’t let this keep you locked up in your house–there are tons of fun things to do around town at little to no cost to you!
Reynolds Farm Equipment has a FREE drive-thru Christmas lights exhibit every year. This is located right off of SR37 in Fishers. I have been going to this exhibit ever since I was a little girl and it is beautiful! This is perfect for kids or adults. The exhibit is open from November 24th through January 3rd, 2016.
Ugly Christmas sweater parties are so fun and hilarious! Ask all of your friends to find the cheesiest Christmas sweater that they can find and host a party at your house. Have everyone vote on their favorite sweater and offer small prizes. It is so easy to find ugly sweaters because of how popular this tradition has become!
Christmas at the Zoo is my absolute favorite thing to do during the holiday season. If you have never been, you have to go at least once! The entire zoo is lit up with beautiful Christmas lights! If you have kids, they will love the reindeer that they get to meet as soon as they walk in. The zoo stays open until 9pm and the kids can get their picture taken with Santa. I have already gone this year, and I loved it.
Don’t forget the perfect accessory to any holiday outing; an Air-Tan!
