Pumpkins are part of what make October so special. They are everywhere, they are so unique, and versatile! You can be as creative as you want to be, or they can hold their own as a statement piece. If you look up “pumpkin decor” on Google or Pinterest, you will be bombarded with a surplus of inspiration for your decorating needs. I have taken some of the best ideas, and put them here for your convenience. Some of my favorite ideas are below:
- Hollow out a large pumpkin, and gently scrape a design into the rind with the tip of a knife, being careful not to go deeper than 1/4 inch. Poke a real tap (available at hardware and party supply stores) through the front. Then add beer or cider for a pumpkin-infused pour!
- Stack them on top of each other and make a fall pumpkin man! Keep away the birds and welcome guests with a friendly smiling face! Or you could make it really spooky, and carve the head and put a candle or LED light at night!
- Carve out the middle, and use the pumpkin as a fall planter for succulents! Absolutely genius way to add a little autumn to your dinner table or bar top!
- I think my favorite idea is to paint the pumpkin and add some gold or silver rhinestones for instant glamification! It just looks so tough! Don’t be afraid to mix up the styles! You can group them with a couple of girly glitter ones, too! The point is to be creative, and let your personal style shine through!
