Brrr… We are starting to feel the affects of winter and I’m sure you are starting to see a change in your skin. I always have a hard time with my skin during the dreaded winter months. My skin changes so much during the cold days. From being dry to itchy, it’s a constant battle during the winter. I have found 3 tips on keeping your skin healthy for this winter:
1. MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE– Keeping your skin moisturized during the winter months is the most important tip. Our skin dries out in the winter because of the cold, dry air so finding a moisturizer that is oil based will help keep your skin looking healthy.
2. Go see an esthetician– This is a good idea to help you find products that will work best with your skin type. Even if you see them once, they will be able to give you advice on keeping your skin healthy during the winter months.
3. Use a humidifier– Keeping a humidifier on in your home will help put moisture back into the air. This will help keep your skin from drying out.
I don’t know about you but I love my skin to always look healthy and flawless, so I will for sure be using these tips this winter!
