Did you know that the best way for your tan to look natural and healthy is to fully exfloiate your body before you get your Air-Tan? Unlike tanning beds, an Air-Tan doesn’t need to be layered. A lot of people think that getting sprayed mulitple times is “keeping up” the tan. With our product you dont have to do that. Once your tan starts to fade, you need to scrub it all off before getting your new tan. The best way I describe this to my clients is it’s like nail polish. You know when your nails start to chip off and look like a hot mess, do you take the nail polish off or paint over them? This is the same concept with your Air-Tan. When the tans starts to fade and some say “crackle” you need to take the tan off before getting a new one. If you start layering your tans, it will not work as well as if you’ve had a fresh, exfoliated body.
So… now I’m sure your thinking, how do i get the tan off so it will look fresh when i get my new tan? We have an awesome body scrub that can help you out with getting your tan off. This scrub does have glycolic acid to help get rid of all your dead skin cells. When using the scrub, it’s best to use a rough or old washcloth to scrub your body. Some people think a loofa but i have found that a cheap pack of Walmart washcloths works best! The scrub does need to sit on your body for a few minutes to penetrate into your skin so that you can get all of those dead skins cell exfoliated. The scrub is available in both of our salons and cost $19 or $17 for members. Stop into either our Broadripple or Fishers salon to pick up your body scrub for you next Air-Tan.
