The holiday season is here! I’ve already got parties starting and family making plans, so it is time to figure out the food agenda for next month or so…I spend a lot of time pinning yummy recipes on my favorite site, Pinterest, but not a ton of time actually creating the recipes in my kitchen. I’m going to hopefully change all of that soon, so here are my top recipes to try for the holiday season:
1. Cinnamon Baked French Toast – Seems a lot easier than traditional french toast, and a heck of a lot tastier – if that’s possible for french toast. It also involves mass amounts of syrup, butter, brown sugar, and carbs so I know I’ll love it. I am hoping to make this on Christmas morning.
2. Cranberry Pecan Cheese Wafers – Holy smokes! This sounds delicious. These are a perfect treat to bring in lieu of cookies. I am a sucker for the cranberry/salty combo, something about it just gets to me every time. I am definitely going to make these for my family Christmas.
3. Reindeer Food – Well isn’t this just darling?! If I had a little one, I think this would be so fun to make! You can download the labels yourself at home (for free!) on your computer and the recipe is super easy. Santa’s reindeers definitely won’t miss your house with this yummy treat! I love this poem on this one:
Just a Sprinkle on the Lawn at Night
The Moon will Make it Sparkle Bright
As Santa’s Reindeer Fly and Roam
This Treat will Guide Them to Your Home!
