When it’s 90 degrees and sunny, what better way to enjoy the outdoors than having a pool party with some fun cocktails? I have some yummy recipes that will have your friends asking when you became a bartender!
This drink is easy to make but sure to impress!
- 1 oz cherry vodka
- 1 oz triple sec
- splash of grenadine
- splash of cranberry juice
Shake together all ingredients but cranberry juice with ice. Pour into glass and top with cranberry juice. Garnish with a fresh cherry.
White Strawberry Lemon Sangria
Sangria is definitely my favorite summer beverage, and this version is light and refreshing enough to be enjoyed on a hot day! Be sure to prep this ahead of time.
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced
- 1 apple, cored and sliced (any kind)
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced lengthwise
- 1 750 ml bottle white wine
- ½ cup white rum
- 4 cups lemon-lime soda
Put fruit slices in a pitcher, and pour the rest of the ingredients over the fruit. Mix, cover, and put in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours. Serve in glasses over a few fruit slices and ice, and garnish with lemon.
Coconut Gin and Tonic
This recipe is perfect to keep you hydrated while drinking! Win win!
- 2 oz gin
- 2 oz coconut water
- 2 oz tonic water
- juice of ½ lime
Add ice to serving glass and top with lime juice, gin, tonic water, and coconut water. Stir and garnish with fresh mint or basil, if desired.
Watermelon St-Germain Slush

- 2 cups frozen watermelon
- 2 mint leaves
- squeeze of lime
- 1 oz gin
- 1 oz St-Germain
Blend all ingredients and serve!
