I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!! Last year, my friend Allie threw an awesome Halloween party where each friend had to come with a spooky dish. Maybe I thought it was so awesome because this is where my boyfriend decided to PROPOSE TO ME! Nevertheless, we had some awesome food and even better costumes. This year, I did some digging to see what new spooky dishes the World Wide Web has come up with and here are my favorites:
Cute: Halloween Dip – Simply hollow out a small pumpkin and fill with your favorite fruit or veggie dip. Serve with your favorite fruit and veggies!
Cuter: Mummie Pigs-in-a-Blanket – I think these are adorable! Before you wrap your weenies or sausages, shred your crescent rolls into slivers. Wrap each mummie in slivers, leaving a small gap about 2/3 of the way up. This will be where you add your mummies’ mustard eyes when they come out of the oven and cool off!
Tasty: False Teeth – These are just apple slices with mini marshmallows. Stick the marshmallows to the apple slices using a bit of peanut butter. For a look a little more gross, leave some missing teeth!
Gross: Pukey Pumpkin – Carve a queasy-looking pumpkin and make it puke out contents like guacamole or any other kind of dip you like. Pretty gross looking, but pretty tasty!
Grossest: Flayed Skin Cheeseball – This looks so disgusting to me, which is exactly the reason why I LOVE IT for a Halloween Party. It’s just a cheese ball carved into the shape of a head. Use prosciutto for the skin and olives for the eyes!
